Shattered Glass

Shattered Glass was a very interesting movie for me. It talked about the journalism world and really sort of related to the Flash in a way. It showed how a group of people get together and discuss story ideas for the next edition. I thought the movie was alright because the acting didn't really have emotion in it at all and didn't get me intrigued to watch the movie any longer. Although it did show aspects of the journalism world including libel, I don't think I will watch this movie again.

Journalism class for myself was very enjoyable and helped me learn more programs on the computer.  It gave me a good interest in journalism as a major.  I think with this class along with the Flash definetly brought me two aspects of the journalism class.  Overall this was a very good class along with a great teacher! I will truely miss Eastview High School!

Men's Volleyball- Opinion Final Draft

Springtime is finally here. With the start of spring many of the spring team sports are in the primes of there season. But some people seem to think there are a few sports left out for people. Men's Volleyball has been a very popular, up and coming sport the past few years. With the appearance in the Summer Olympic games, in China, in 2008, people have grown interest in this very popular sport.

See, when it comes to high school volleyball, there is only one type, Girl's Volleyball. Men are restricted from playing the game even if it has grown popular interest in recent years. Even if I may not be going here next year, I know there is a wide range of interested guys that love the game of volleyball and would love to see it implemented into the spring sports system.

"I think volleyball is popular just because of how competitive it is, I think people don't give it the credit it deserves because the sport is challenging but fun." Says Kyle Jonas, a summertime beach volleyball fiend.

By implementing Men's Beach Volleyball into spring sports I think it will not only add another sport, but get kids off their butts and outside being proactive. It would be a popular sport to both watch and be in. By putting it into the line-up of spring sports it would increase the amount of activity here at Eastview and give a new sport for people to watch.

With the growing popularity of this sport, it's hard not to put this sport into spring athletics. It would not only boost the amount of people going out for a sport, but it would boost activity around the school. The student council always says they need to improve the food that we are eating throughout the concessions and lunch-line. But with putting volleyball into the system, it would boost many kids fitness level and have fun while doing it.

The input of this sport is a great idea for not only the school but the district. It will help improve activity throughout the school, increase the amount of popularity of the sport, and help kids meet new people by joining an organized sport. I think the input of this sport should happen and WILL happen within the next few years.
